Stay up to date on Ragalicious's Ragdolls Show Career!
Each cat is judged on features and temperament based on the standard as written by the organization in which you’re showing. TICA and CFA standards are very similar and our most common shows here in the US.
Cats earn points based on their ranking in color and division and then they earn points for being invited to a final. Each judge sees every cat in the building and then ranks their top ten (this is the final). In order to earn titles, a cat must accumulate a certain number of points and a certain number of finals. They accumulate for the lifetime of the adult cat. Kitten points work differently.
SO, first you earn your Champion title, then grand champion, double grand champion, triple, quadruple, and finally (if you’re really lucky) with a big point jump and a best of show, a cat can become a Supreme Grand Champion.

LCWW has their first ever show in San Francisco Cow Palace. It was such a welcoming and fun experience. Everyone who competed were there just for fun rather than titles. I made lots of new friends and local breeders. I was so happy to have 50+ people hold Cleo x Tyberius kittens!
Tyberius x Olivia's 6 month old twin sisters were both showing, often placing interchangeably for 2nd and 3rd place. ICONIC, one of the twins, was so so outgoing!! Her markings weren't perfect, but the judges chose her due to her personality I'm sure of it.
Tyberius placed usually 4th and 5th place. The judges remarked that they cant wait to see him with a thicker coat! He was so cuddly he would be purring and rolling on his back through all the rings.
Reno show was packed!
Mimi placed 2nd multiple times out of 4 and was very much relaxed and adorable.
Stella placed 3rd multiple times and was very playful! She was so outgoing that I very enjoyed showing her.
Tyberius placed 3rd several times! I was so happy for him. His coat has started to come back in.
Tyberius's daughter place 7th place in All Breed kitten out of 13 kittens!
I have severe social anxiety so I was only able to stay one day. Hopefully longer next time...
Shows had been closed due to Covid so it was so exciting to attend my first ever show in CFA. I met lots of great breeders and everyone was so supportive!
There wasn't many cats in the competition, was more for the learning experience! Mimi placed 2nd & 3rd out of 4 in the ragdoll class only multiple times and was very happy to be there
Tyberius doesn't have a very good profile and had a short coat so didn't place very well usually 5th out of 5. However he was very playful and outgoing and judges loved handling him.
Stella had just turned 4 months old and was so adorable and purring the whole time! She placed 3rd and 4th place multiple times and once placed 2nd out of 5.
