Van De Hippe Kip's Pixie “Paris”

Paris is a very playful, outgoing girl who loves being involved in whatever is going on around her. She is constantly carrying toys around the house, pawing at us for attention, rolling at our feet, or trying to get someone to play with her. She loves fetch, cat shelves, climbing, and anything that keeps her busy.

One thing that surprised me about Paris is that she was not cuddly as a kitten. She enjoyed people but wasn’t interested in sitting still or cuddling much. Around a year old that completely changed, and she turned into a total lap cat. Now she is one of the first cats to climb into a lap and she loves curling up with both family and guests. She especially loves people who are gentle with her and will happily soak up all the attention she can get.

Paris is very vocal and has no problem sharing her opinions. She is not a sensitive cat, but if she doesn’t like something, she will absolutely let you know. At the same time, she is very easy to handle and allows grooming and nail trims without much fuss despite having an extremely thick, fluffy coat.

She is a needy girl and genuinely enjoys being around people. She likes to be involved, likes attention, and rarely chooses to spend her time off by herself. Between her playful personality, confidence, curiosity, and love for people, she and her half sister Brittany usually steal the show!

Paris’s kittens tend to inherit her outgoing, people-oriented personality and are typically moderate to very high energy. They love to play, stay busy, and are often happiest when they are involved in whatever their families are doing.

Based on feedback from Paris & Bruce pairings, their kittens are usually very affectionate and frequently seek out pets and attention, though they tend to score moderately in cuddle levels since they are often too busy playing to sit still for long. While most did not regularly cuddle on laps, many enjoyed relaxing beside their families between play sessions and constantly followed their people from room to room. Families consistently describe them as social butterflies who adore guests, do exceptionally well with children, and thrive on companionship. They are also known for being very vocal, moderate to high shedders with low matting coats, and generally tolerate baths and nail trims reasonably well.
